Description: Unique Pete Rose autographed Baseball Hall of Fame Lifetime Pass. Heavy paper stock "Donor's Lifetime Pass" as issued on May 1, 1984 to Pete Rose with his name printed in red on bearers' line. It has been signed "Pete Rose" on the front and inscribed "Barry, I shouldn't need this pass to get in to the Hall of Fame, Your pal, Pete Rose." Marker signatures and handwriting rate 8 to 9 out of 10. Housed in 8"x9" frame with glass on both the front and back to allow for viewing of both sides. Touch of light visible wear and some minor discoloration on back. Passes of this type are typically issued to players who have donated material to the Hall of Fame and we would presume that the offered example was given to Rose after a gift of pieces related to his 4,000th hit which occurred on April 13th of the same year. Includes auction LOA from JSA: Sigs. NM, Pass EX
