Description: Billy Williams autographed professional model baseball bat c.1973-74. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Williams facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34.25" long and weighs 31oz. Model number "S2" is factory stamped in the knob which has a vintage "26" player number notation. Nice use is evident throughout with a number of ball and contact marks on the barrel. Handle has a light coat pine tar and a large crack (running down through the knob) is secured in place with a nail. In addition, a large crack in the upper handle has been tacked in place and there is residue from tape which was at one time applied over this. An "S2" marker notation at mid barrel was placed there by long time equipment Manager Yosh Kawano and is a highly desirable trait on a Cubs player game bat. Signed in marker rating 8/9 out of 10.
