Description: Elston Howard professional model baseball bat c.1965-68. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Howard facsimile signature in the barrel measures 36" long and weighs 32oz. Model number "K55" is factory stamped in the knob which has number "18" written on in vintage black marker (as worn by Howard in 1967 and 68). Very nice evident use with ball contact and stitch marks on the hitting surface along with several rack marks. A light coat of pine tar remains on the handle which has been custom scored to aid in grip. What appears to have been a minor crack or separation along the grain on the reverse barrel has been secured in place. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions: EXEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,250)
