Description: Harmon Killebrew professional model baseball bat c.1955-60. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Killebrew facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 30.6oz. Model number "D2" is factory stamped in the knob which has been completely covered in black marker. Uncracked with nice use including stitch and contact marks covering the barrel and a nice coat of pine tar on the handle. In addition, there is some minor grain swelling due to repeated contact. Early career era bat dating the to period in which Killebrew burst into the American League hitting (42) homeruns in 1959 which was first full season with the Washington Senators. He followed the Franchise to Minnesota where he would remain until 1974 becoming one of the most beloved Twins players of All-Time.
