Description: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb, and Tris Speaker autographed display. Framed display (20.5"x23") featuring a black and white photograph of the Hall of Famers standing shoulder to shoulder in Shibe Park c.1928. Matted below are autographs incl. Babe Ruth ("G.H. Ruth") which is done in fountain pen on a 1940 dated Chemical Bank deposit receipt (9/10-10 out of 10); "Lou Gehrig" closely cropped pencil signature (8-8/9) which was clipped from a larger piece and mounted to index card; "Tyrus R. Cobb" ink signature (8) on 1950 dated personal check (filled out in unknown hand); and "Tris Speaker" ink signature (8/9) on 1952 dated Government postcard. All have been secured in the display with conservators tape that could be removed by a professional. Mild scattered wear includes some fold lines added to the pieces to ensure they would fit in desired areas within the matting. Image has raised "Bruce Murray Collection" mark at lower corner. Includes full LOA from JSA (entire piece),PSA/DNA Authentication holder from which the Ruth signature was removed, and Murray Collection COA (for photo): Sigs.
