Description: 1933 Goudey Printer's Proof uncut sheet. Visually striking sheet of (24) cards from the classic 1933 Goudey issue showcasing players from the Giants and Senators whom would face each other in the World Series. Most notable are Mel Ott, Heinie Manush, Joe Cronin, Goose Goslin, Carl Hubbell, Bill Terry, and Lefty O'Doul. Mounted to cardstock backing, the blank backed 16"x17" sheet has printer's marks/notations within the upper border and a number of small marks were removed from cards throughout by a professional conservator (in some cases these have left behind largely unobtrusive impressions in the surface). Some additional light wear is visible to areas scattered throughout (most confined to borders and or card edges) and it can be presumed that some of this was lessened during the restoration/mounting process. The sheet displays at what we would consider the EX level but would have a lesser technical grade.
