Description: 1909-12 PX7 Sweet Caporal Domino Discs near complete set (120 of 129) plus (6) additional pieces. Rarely offered near complete set of these early tobacco insert premiums is by far the most comprehensive group we have handled. All key Hall of Famers and players are included and the only pieces missing are McIntyre, McLean, Merkle, Meyers, Milan, Miller, Mitchell, Mullen, and Murphy. Condition runs FR to EX as a general range with most pieces around GD/VG-VG with the most consistent issue being the typical light rust to the metal edges (which in some cases effects the paper at center). There are a few higher grade examples mixed throughout. Hall of Famers include Baker, Bender, Bresnahan, Brown, Chance, Clarke, Cobb (no "D" on cap), Collins, Evers*, Griffith*, Huggins, Jennings, Johnson (slightly OC/miscut), Lajoie, Marquard, Mathewson (slightly OC/miscut), McGraw*, Speaker*, Tinker, Wallace*, Walsh, Wheat*, and Young*. Those with an (*) following their name are most effected by rust and/or other wear and should be assumed to grade FR/GD or lower, others average GD/VG.
