Description: Fine c.1997-98 Dan Marino game used Miami Dolphins helmet. Riddell helmet has Dolphins team logo decals applied on either side. On the back are "Dolphins" team name and player number "13" decals. A "Marino 2" label situated between the "1" and "3" matches favorably to images of Marino taken during the 1997 season. An additional "13" on small circular applique is inside along with velcro which would have been used to secure a communication device. A Schutt facemask in Marino's classic style is affixed and the lower clips on either side are appropriate black color which photographic evidence suggests the Dolphins switched to in 1998. Strong use/wear throughout with scattered scuffs and scrapes along with light to mild soiling. An outstanding example with regard to stature of player, overall use characteristics, and unimpeachable first hand provenance. Please note: the helmet is not currently autographed but if so desired by the winning bidder, it can be arranged to have Marino sign it.
