Description: Early 1980s Joe Theismann Washington Redskins professional model jersey. White mesh jersey has number "7" screened on front, back, and shoulders. There is a "Theismann" nameplate across the back. "Russell Athletic" tag appears on the front tail noting size, "40." The sleeves have been custom hemmed and there is light evident usage and wash wear throughout. At the helm of the Redskins from 1974-1985, Theismann lead the team to a pair of Super Bowl appearances and a Championship in Super Bowl XVII. The (2) time Pro-Bowler with the NFL's 1983 MVP and is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and the Redskins Ring Of Honor.
