Description: 1966 Bill Mazeroski Pittsburgh Pirates professional model road jersey (SGC/Grob: Superior). Grey flannel vest style jersey as worn by Hall of Fame second baseman Bill Mazeroski during the 1966 National League campaign. Shirt proudly displays its original "Pirates" black on gold team name across the front with matching "9" on both front and back. Proper MacGregor manufacturer's tag (size 44) affixed inside collar and has partially detached at left side. Interior tail area has MacGregor Set 2 1966 tag along with dry clean tagging each appropriate for the period. Superb overall use is clearly evident including scattered fraying to a few areas of the black/gold piping. Aside from being an absolute defensive rock at second base for the Pirates during his enitre MLB career "Maz" is etched into the history of the game with his iconic walk off home run inteh 1960 World Series.
