Description: September 10, 1939 Philadelphia Athletics "Reunion Of Champions" autographed baseball. Reach "Official League" baseball has been signed by (27) including Frank Baker, Herb Pennock, Lefty Grove, Eddie Collins, George Earnshaw, Chief Bender, Ed Rommel, Stuffy McInnis, Jimmie Dykes, Bing Miller, Rube Walberg, Paddy Livingston, and others. All are done in fountain pen rating 6 to 8 out of 10. Ball has a toned coat of shellac and there is some scattered surface wear/imperfections. A handwritten notation reading "Old Timers Game 1939" relates to the event at Shibe Park during which Connie Mack brought together members of his former Championship Athletics team to play an exhibition game.
