Description: Rare 1923 Yankee Stadium Opening Day ticket stub. Original heavy paper stock stub as issued for the historic game played between the Yankees and Red Sox. True to form, Babe Ruth hit a homerun foreshadowing what was to come and ushering in the era of Yankees dominance of the American League. Displays at the VG-VG/EX level with a faint crease and some other light scattered wear. Two pieces of tape on the back, the result of prior mounting within a display, could likely be removed by a professional if so desired.
