Description: Frankie Frisch professional model bat c.1916-18 (Rookie era)(PSA/DNA GU5). Early Louisville Slugger double dash-dot-dash model bat measures 34 1/2" long and weighs 39.5 oz. Very heavy use is apparent to include handle crack, ball marks, spiral handle tape (removed), and grain checking to the back of the barrel which has 5 1/2" section missing. Left barrel area had factory side writing which is no longer visible. Block letter "Frich" stamped on barrel which is misspelled from proper "Frisch". Very rare game bat from one of the game's great stars of the early 20th century. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA (GU5): VGEstimated Price Range: ($1,500-$3,000)
