Description: 1950 George "Shotgun" Shuba Brooklyn Dodgers professional model road jersey (MEARS "A10"). Gray flannel jersey has the "Dodgers" team name on front in scripted logo font and player number "8" on back. In the collar are "Rawlings" manufacturer, size "44", and "Dry Clean Only" tags. "George Shuba 50" is embroidered on the left front tail. Condition is outstanding with some light evident usage wear along with some typical minor age related toning. A mainstay on the Dodgers roster throughout the late 1940s and 1950s, Shuba played on three of their National League pennant winning teams and was with the club for their 1955 World Series Championship.
