Number also appears on back below a "Thornton" nameplate. Rawlings tag in the collar notes size (48) and next to this is an "1 87" embroidered strip tag. Evident usage and wash wear; c.1983-85 Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Thornton facsimile signature in the barrel. Bat is cracked and shows outstanding use/wear with the handle custom scored for grip. A choice pair from a beloved Indians player and team Hall of Fame member.
