Lot Number: 269a

Description: 2010 Roy Halladay Philadelphia Phillies professional model road jersey – Cy Young Award winning season. Outstanding representation from one of the defining seasons of Halladay’s Hall of Fame career in which he won (21) games and collected his second Cy Young Award. In May of the same year he threw a Perfect Game and in October he performed one of the games’ most memorable feats becoming only the second pitcher in history to record a post-season No-Hitter. Road gray jersey has “Phillies” team name across the front and number “34” on back below the name, “Halladay.” On the right sleeve is a “36” memorial patch worn in honor of Hall of Famer Robin Roberts. Majestic tag is screened on the front tail noting size (50) and the “Cool Base” flag tag is on outer seam. Inside is a properly coded wash tag (“0063”) along with size and custom length tags. On the inside front tail is a “10” embroidered year tag. Nice use and wash wear are evident throughout and an affixed MLB Authentication hologram (FJ343934) confirms the jersey to have been “team issued.” It is common practice for MLB to authenticate jerseys as “team issued” in the off season with no reference to a particular game(s) as teams clean out their locker rooms in preparation to restock for the coming year. A highly desirable and very seldom offered game jersey from one of the most dominant pitchers of the era and the Hall of Fame’s newest member. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions: EX
