Description: Bennie Bengough professional model baseball bat c.1920s. Kren's Special has model number "174" stamped below the Company name and "B.Bengough" block lettered into the barrel. It measures 35" long and weighs 35oz. Strong usage wear is evident throughout with grain swelling and contact marks. A large crack in the handle was secured many years ago with a pair of small tacks. Bengough spent (8) of his (10) Major League seasons with the New York Yankees and was a part of their 1923, 1927, and 1928 World Series Championship teams.
