Description: 1942 Ken Jungels Pittsburgh Pirates professional model road jersey with period pants. Road gray jersey has player number "24" on the back and a "Jungels" embroidered strip tag in the collar. "Spalding" and size "44" tags appear just above. Both the "Pittsburgh" team name across the front and a "Health" sleeve patch have been removed. As these jerseys were reused throughout the Pirates Minor League system, it is likely that other names (and possibly patches) were also sewn on and removed in the in the mid-late 1940s. Pants date to a similar period and are by Wilson with "Butcher" embroidered and size "44" tags in the waist (Max Butcher played with Pitt from 1939-45).
