Description: Babe Ruth crossing homeplate in the 1927 World Series photograph. Sepia toned 8"x10" photo showing Ruth as he crosses home during a game played at Forbes Field. Light general wear is most pronounced along the lower edge with some corner chips and there are production related lines drawn on the front. "Pacific & Atlantic" stamp appears on the back along with "Oct 6 - 1927" date stamp. An affixed paper caption notes that he shown after hitting the first homerun of the World Series however the date would contradict this and was likely mistakenly applied in lieu of one dated October 7th: VG/EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
