Signed "Joe Wood" in fiber tipped pen rating 7-7/8 out of 10. Handwritten identifier appears on back. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA graded "Type I". Walter Johnson had won 16 games in a row (still the AL record shared with Wood, Grove and Schoolboy Rowe) . Wood, who had won 13 in a row, was moved up in the rotation Johnson with both streaks on the line. Wood won 1-0 at Fenway Park on Sept. 6, 1912.
