Description: 1903 New York Giants portrait photographs by Carl Horner (11). Choice sepia toned portrait photographs were originally issued as part of a larger composite with only one or two of those oversized pieces known to have survived. Each of these were carefully trimmed from the mount around the edges with (7) now oval shaped (approx. 3.5"x5") and (4) rectangular (approx. 4"x5.5"). Includes Joe McGinnity, Roger Bresnahan, John McGraw (removed from backing, photographers mask applied), Dummy Taylor, George Van Haltren, George Browne, Charlie Babb, Billy Lauder, Sam Mertes, Jack Cronin, and Roscoe Miller. All have light/mild toning/discoloration and moderate wear including a tack hole near top from prior mounting and handwritten identifier on the back.
