Description: Pittsburgh Pirates player attributed photographs c.1890s. Pair of sepia toned photographs on period mounts (5"x5") showing uniformed players are each identified on the back with attributions to being Pittsburgh Pirates players. The lone batsman is noted as Jack McCarthy and image of two players are believed to be Bill Hart and Bill Eagan. Photos are efinitively Exposition Park (version II) in Pittsburgh because of the turret in the background. Probably circa 1891-98 as the grandstand is still single deck Light general handling and storage wear. Rare early views of the game at a professional level: GD-VGEstimated Price Range: ($300-$500)
