Description: Early baseball game oversized photograph with related image c.1885. Choice sepia toned 8"x10" photo showing a game in action with pitcher mid-windup and what appears to be an African American third baseman. A handwritten notation on back of mount reads, "Edward J Conley delivering pitch c.1885." An additional portrait photo is identified as showing Conley and notes he was a member of the 1884-85 Providence Grays. Touch of light toning and wear.
