Description: Rare Wes Fisler Philadelphia Athletics cabinet card c.1874. Exceptional and crisp sepia toned photograph showing Fisler in uniform remains on the original 4.25"x6.5" mount which has "Suddard's & Fennemore" studio mark on the back. Light wear along with a "Fisler" ink notation along the bottom (beside some staining/discoloration). There is a partially erased pencil notation along the top front and a few additional (faint) on the back. One of a series of important Athletics photographs which were taken in the infancy of the Franchise and later appeared as woodcuts in an 1874 issue of Harper's Weekly: VGEstimated Price Range: ($1,500-$2,500)
