Description: Outstanding 1997 Brian Dawkins autographed game used inscribed Philadelphia Eagles jersey - extensive use with team repairs. Exceedingly rare game jersey is one of perhaps two or three well documented examples to have entered the market and is offered directly from the Dawkins collection for the first time. Green mesh jersey with player number "20" on front, back, and shoulders has "Dawkins" nameplate across the back. Starter Pro Line tag on the front tail has adjacent size "46" and "L" flag tags. To the left is a "97" printed year tag. Ripon Athletic and wash tags are on the interior seam. Outstanding use/wear is evident throughout and includes numerous team repairs. Signed on the back in marker rating 8 out of 10 and inscribed "Game Used!!." With regard to direct first hand provenance and level of use, the offered is surely the finest Dawkins jersey which has come to auction.
