Description: Charley Trippi Football Hall of Fame ring. Desirable ring has a blue faux stone top face with inset diamond and is lettered "Pro Football Hall Of Fame" around the beveled edge. "Charley Trippi" name is listed at top of one shank with a game action scene below. "Elected 1968" is noted at bottom. Other has a rendering of the Hall of Fame building and has his "Halfback" position at top. Size (9.5) with mild wear and unmarked though it has been tested and is done in gold. An included letter of provenance signed by Trippi states that "this is my original Hall of Fame ring" however some subtle design differences lead us to believe that this was likely a secondary ring which he would have requested/ordered throughout the Hall of Fame: EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($4,000-$6,000)
