Description: 1934 Mel Ott autographed New York Giants Player's contract. Original Uniform Player's Contract as issued to Ott retaining his services for the 1934 season has been signed "Melvin Ott" in period fountain pen (9-9/10 out of 10) with Charles Stoneham just above (7-7/8) on behalf of the team. Ott made his All-Star debut in 1934 (the first of what would become 11 consecutive appearances) and would end the season leading the National League in both homeruns (35) and RBIs (135). Fold lines and mild wear throughout along with some scattered discoloration. Includes choice 8"x10" sepia toned photograph of Ott for display (seated behind a desk), full LOA from JSA, and letter of provenance from the Ott Family: Sig.
