Description: 1970-71 Roberto Clemente presentational plaque. Large walnut wooden plaque as presented to Clemente by the Rotary Club of Puerto Rico for excellence in the 1970-71 season. Blue metal placard affixed to the plaque is inscribed (in Spanish) to Clemente with large embossed brass plated composite medallion with baseball scene. Smaller metal decorative baseball medallion at bottom has some age crazing and surface flaking. 15" long. Includes letter of provenance from the Clemente family: EXEstimated Price Range: ($250-$500)
