Wood base has brass placard applied at front that reads "1998 Rawlings Gold Glove Award Presented to Rey Ordonez, Honoring His Selection as The Finest In The Field." Mounted on plinth atop this is an additional placard which bears his printed likeness and there is a gold colored Rawlings fielder's glove above.
