Description: 1972 Roberto Clemente 3,000th Hit presentational award. Walnut wooden plaque as presented to Clemente in recognition of his 3,000th hit by the Municipal Administration of Mayaguez. The plaque measures 13"x16" having a substantive applied brass faìade with inset placard inscribed to Clemente and dated November 11, 1972. Wooden plaque exhibits some minor surface imperfections with the brass facade having light 'pitting' to the surface.
