Description: 1970 Roberto Clemente presentational bronze baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 Roberto Clemente model baseball bat which has been bronzed in presentational fashion and given to Clemente in recognition of his career batting average of .314 as of 1970. Bat has engraved inscription on barrel end, "Roberto Clemente Pittsburgh Pirates-Leading Lifetime Hitter .314 in Major Leagues of Present Era-Presented by (illegible) Club Feb. 1, 1970". The bronze casing has fractured along a seam point running the length of the bat. Louisville Slugger stampings remain visible along with majority of inscription.
