Description: 1960 Roberto Clemente "Bill Powell Pittsburgher Award". Figural trophy as presented to Clemente for "Outstanding Sports Figure for 1960" features a mahogany wooden figural trophy with brass batsman at center. Applied brass placard on the base titled and inscribed to Clemente as "Right Field for the Pgh. Pirates World Champion Baseball". Brass batter plating has been touched up and the applied brass placard has some surface wear. Under the wooden plinth base there are some losses which have been re-felted for appearance. 16" tall.
