Description: Rare 1967-68 Roberto Clemente Puerto Rico Winter League All-Star presentational ring. Original ring as presented to Clemente for his selection to the All-Star team of the highly regarded Puerto Rico Winter Baseball League. Clemente had played with the San Juan team for the 1967-68 season compiling a batting average of .382. Sterling silver ring features an inset blue CZ stone on top encircled with raised lettering, "P.R. Winter League All-Star". Side panels display baseball shape detail image along with Puerto Rico insignia and date of 1967, respectively. Stamped "Sterling" on interior ring band with light surface wear evident including small indentation to one side panel. Extremely rare and sought after original Puerto Rico Winter League ring as awarded to the greatest Latin American player in the history of the game.
