Description: Scarce Santurce Cangrejeros baseball team photograph with Roberto Clemente and Willie Mays c.1954. Original 8"x10" image of a composite arrangement featuring individual player vignette portraits of the Puerto Rico Winter League Santurce Cangrejeros. Players are identified under their respective images including a 23 year old, Willie Mays and 20 year old rookie, Roberto Clemente. The image itself exhibits heavy age and handling wear including creasing, small tear at center, and small border tears. Minor surface soiling is present which could be cleaned if so desired and bottom right corner does have some emulsion loss which intersects with Clemente's name. Notably rare item which was one of the only pieces documenting the legendary combination of the two future Hall of Fame players with added desirability of having originated from Clemente's personal collection. 8"x10" matted and framed.
