Description: 1968 Roberto Clemente Lions Club presentational plaque. Mahogany wooden plaque with two inscribed brass placards framed in floral gilt brass borders as presented to Clemente by the Lions Club of Carolina, Puerto Rico. Top placard features Lions Club insignia with the lower being inscribed (in Spanish), "To our Roberto Clemente In Recognition of his extraordinary work in the Major Leagues 2-17-68". 10"x13" with some adhesive residue on the reverse and slight separation at the three board construction joints.
