Description: 1965 Roberto Clemente Exchange Club presentational plaque. Mahogany wooden plaque as presented to Clemente with figural brass book style placard affixed to the front. National Exchange Club enamelwork insignia affixed to the placard which is inscribed, "Exchange Club Book of Golden Deeds" on left panel. Right panel in inscribed (in Spanish), "To Roberto Clemente In Recognition to the outstanding performance of our highest in baseball of the Major Leagues" by the Exchange Club of El Comandante-Country Club 1965. The brass placards have some wear to the plating with the wooden plaque having some uneven wear to finish at bottom corners. 11"x15" .
