Description: 1972 Roberto Clemente Pittsburgh Pirates contract with related material. Original Uniform Player's Contract as issued to Clemente for the 1972 season includes a letter from Pirates GM Joe L.Brown noting that it was sent in compliance with MLB rules however the two would be discussing further terms on an impending trip to Puerto Rico. In addition, the letter has exceptional content related to their 1971 Championship season. Also includes a file copy "Supplemental Pension Contract" and a letter covering what would happen should he be traded. All (4) pieces are signed by General Manager Joe L. Brown (ink, 7/8-8).
