Description: 1970 Roberto Clemente Puerto Rico presentational plaque. Attractive walnut wooden plaque as presented to Clemente by the Resident Commissioner of Puerto Rico featuring an applied copper placard inscribed (in Spanish), "For your Excellence and Chivalry in the Sport with the Admiration and the Affection that we Share with all the Puerto Ricans". Additional brass medallion is displayed within the copper placard having baseball batting figural. Fine overall condition with light evident wear. 15" tall.
