Description: 1972 Roberto Clemente Puerto Rico presentational plaque. Walnut wooden plaque as given to Clemente in recognition as "the greatest Puerto Rican baseball player in professional baseball" by the Village of Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. Plaque measures 15" tall with applied brass placard inscribed at bottom and baseball decorative bronze plated medallion at top surrounded by laurel wreath. Light surface wear and some scratching to the brass placard. Includes letter of provenance from the Clemente family: EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
