Description: Fine Robin Yount professional model baseball glove c.1981. Rawlings brand model "RY" left handed fielder's glove has faded number "19" written on in marker below the manufacturer's label along outer thumb. In addition, the name "Yount" is barley visible along the pinky. Evident usage wear with well formed pocket and matting to the fleece lined wrist strap. There is a custom finger pad which is similar to those that can be seen in images of Yount in the early 1980s. An outstanding and rare example dating to one of the most productive periods of his career as Yount would be named the 1982 American League MVP.
