Description: Extremely rare c.1981 Cal Ripken Jr. handwritten letter (EX/MT) Rochester Red Wings team stationary bearing a full page handwritten letter that is signed at the close, "Sincerely, Cal Ripken Jr." Ripken was in the midst of his last Minor League stop before being called up to the Majors and writes, "If you would write to me when I make it to Baltimore I would be glad to send you some pictures." Ink handwriting and signature rate 7/8-8 out of 10 with piece having typical fold lines from mailing and a touch of light age and storage wear.
