EX-NM) Trio of pieces from the noted pitcher who won a pair of Championships and threw a no-hitter in 1923. Includes black and white portrait photograph which has been signed "Sad Sam Jones" with personalized sentiment. Ink signature rates 7-7/8 out of 10. Image has light wear to edges and chips at (2) corners. Stamped "Charles M. Conlon" on the back (along with his handwritten player identifier) which has residue from prior mounting; handwritten letter dated 1960 and referencing the photo which had come from the Jones collection. Signed "Sincerely your, Sam P. Jones" in ink rating 7/8 out of 10. Light toning/wear with a small tear at top and stain at bottom.
