Description: Choice c.1934 Babe Ruth autograph with photograph of him signing in Tour uniform (Sig. NM) Leather bound album of typewritten notes is gilt lettered on the cover, "Psychology, A Digest Of Lectures" with the author's name below. The first inside page (no longer attached) has been signed "Babe Ruth" in period fountain pen rating 8 out of 10. He has inscribed the book above with wording that is not fully decipherable but appears to read roughly, "Yours for a bigger and better Intellect is a genius." Mounted below is a 4"x3" original photograph showing Ruth as he signs the book. An ink notation to one side indicates it was signed in 1933 or 34 and is signed by the books' author. Below is a signature and inscription from former player Eddie Stanky and there is a note attached to the book interior (dated 1950) which relates to Stanky having seen and signed the piece. Mild general handling wear to book and signed page which has a horizontal fold, a few small chips/tears at sides, and pieces of toned tape along right edge. Includes full LOA from JSA: Sig.
