Description: Early 1920s Ty Cobb handwritten and signed letter with related correspondence (GD-EX/MT) Interesting archive as relates to the relationship between Cobb and fellow Hall of Famer George Weiss who was then running a team in New Haven. Includes sheet of his personal "T.R.C." stationary with handwritten letter to Weiss regarding stock in the club which has been signed "T.R.C" (fountain pen rating 8/9 out of 10, light toning and fold lines to letter); 1920, 21, and 22 Western Union Telegrams (3) as sent from Cobb to Weiss; Bradstreet Report sheet with typed financial summary of Cobb dated 1919; (2) file copy pages of 1922 letter as sent from Weiss to Cobb (heavy wear, likely missing another page); 1923 file copy of letter from Weiss to Cobb whom was then Manager of the Tigers. Varying degrees of wear throughout. Includes auction LOA from JSA: GD-EX/MT
