Description: 1947 George “Shotgun” Shuba Mobile Bears professional model home jersey and pants. Cream colored flannel jersey has the “Bears” team name on front in scripted logo font and player number “8” on back. A “Wilson” manufacturers tag appears in the collar with adjacent size “40” flag tag. Matching pants are similarly tagged (size “38”) and have player number “8” written inside in black marker. An included pair of stirrup socks rounds out the ensemble. Usage, wash, and some general age related wear is evident throughout with a few minor stains and (1) button is missing from front. Includes LOA from MEARS (graded “A9”) and (6) period sepia toned 8”x10” photos of Shuba in the same/similar uniform (one of these has been signed in fountain pen rating 8 out of 10).
