Description: "Post-Graduate Football" by Joe Carr - unpublished manuscript with related documents. Typewritten (33) page manuscript which went unpublished was a collaborative effort between Carr and writer Michael Fanning. The work had been sent to a New York publisher for review and bears their stamp on the first page. Included is a letter from the publisher sent upon return of the manuscript, several letters and a telegram from Fanning to Carr related to the work, and an unsigned file copy of a letter sent from Carr to Fanning in 1935. Also included is a faux leather briefcase in which the Carr Family had long stored many of his personal effects. Varying degrees of wear throughout.
