Description: 1908 Giants vs. Cubs playoff game panoramic postcard - "Merkle's Boner" makeup game. Rare period postcard as published by Darwin D. Silberer with "Hunyadi Janos Water" advertising. As noted in the caption at lower left, the scene shown is of the one game playoff between Chicago and New York to decide the Pennant after Merkles' ill fated play caused the prior to end with score tied. Touch of light toning/discoloration and some light corner/edge wear.
