Description: Rare 1960s Philadelphia Phillies figural ashtray by Fred Kail c.1960s. Desirable original figural batter standing atop ashtray base and attached via threaded post and wingnut. Decals on both figure and base remain intact with the "Phillys" on chest having a few minute chips/flakes. Outstanding overall condition with a hint of light wear and touch of discoloration. Far better known for his football figures, Kail's baseball works are exceedingly rare with only a handful of known examples for each of a few teams.
