Description: 1937 Eric McNair sidewritten professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with McNair facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 36.8oz. Strong usage wear evident throughout with ball and contact marks scattered about the barrel which has a touch of grain swelling. A mild crack begins at upper handle (extending approx. 6"). Side written in grease pencil, "Eric, McNair, 6-14-37, Boston Amer Lea." And additional faint pencil/ink notation reads "D.B. McNair 6-8-37."
