Description: Fine 1971 Billy Williams autographed Chicago Cubs professional model road jersey. Gray flannel jersey has "Chicago" team name lettered across the front with number "26" below. The number also appears on back and a team logo patch is on left sleeve. An embroidered strip tag in the collar reading "26-1971- Set 2-40" denotes player number, year, set number, and size. Size is further relayed on the Wilson tag which is on front tail. A faint outline of the year can be seen below with the chainstitch removed. Signed in black marker "Billy Williams" rating 8 out of 10 with additional errant mark below. The 1961 National League Rookie of The Year, Williams spent over a decade playing baseball in Chicago and is one the Cubs All-Time Greats. The team formally retired his number in 1987, the same year he was inducted into Baseball's Hall of Fame.
